As with many social and community enterprises, TEN is both a charity and a limited company, and the trustees of the charity are also the directors of the company.
South Tyneside TEN's Advisory Group has representatives from the major relevant public, private and voluntary agencies within the Borough, e.g. Officers and members of South Tyneside MBC, Jobcentre Plus, the Local Strategic Partnership, South Tyneside CVS, and Community and Voluntary organisations, staff and client group representation is through elected representatives of South Tyneside TEN's Unemployment Forum,
